Non-members are welcome to our meetings. At talks there is a small charge of £2 for members & £3 for non-members to include light refreshments, unless otherwise advertised. Walks are £1 and £2 respectively.

Tuesday 11th. 7.30pm at the Museum of Carpet, Green Street.  'Town Centre Development 1: the Bull Ring early 1900s'. An illustrated talk by the ever popular Robert Barber

JULY

Tuesday 16th at 6.30pm.  Advance booking requestedA walk in the Park’, tour and talk in Brinton Park' led by experienced guide, Phil Ginnings who will explain the plans to restore Brinton Park, the Peoples’ Park, for future generations.Meet in the Car Park (entrance from Sutton Road).

Saturday 15th. Kidderminster Heritage weekend (Not Civic society)Featuring local heritage displays and events in Kidderminster Town Hall. Our Society will be manning a stall in the Yown Hall exhibition on Saturday 14th from 10am to 3pm.

OCTOBER

Tuesday 14th 7.30pm Kidderminster Youth House, Bromsgrove Street. 'The Work of the Kidderminster and District Youth Trust, a talk and tour with the Youth Workers

NOVEMBER

Tuesday 12th 7.30pm at the Museum of Carpet, Green Street. 'Pubs in Kidderminster' Philip Trow an illustrated talk

DECEMBER

Tuesday 3rd  Christmas at the Town Hall ‘The future of Kidderminster Town Hall’, talk and tour by Hamish Wood, Project Officer

JANUARY

FEBRUARY

Tuesday 11th 7.30pm at the Museum of Carpet, Green Street. ‘Getting into the Swim – swimming, swimming baths and the State of Trade in Kidderminster’. An illustrated talk by Michael Loftus

Tuesday 17th 7.30pm. Visit to Holy Innocents Church, Foley Park. Visit, talk and light refreshments. Car parking on site

APRIL

Tuesday 21st  'A Rangers Walk at Hurcott Pools and Woods, a Iocal nature reserve incorporating the largest area of SSSI wet woodland in the county. 6.15pm meet at Car park off Hurcott Lane.

MAY

The twenty seventh Annual General Meeting of the Society. Details to be announced in due course.
